The Texas Homeschool Expo is an annual resource fair for current and prospective home educators. It offers a unique opportunity to explore dozens of educational curricula, resources, programs, and service providers in person, connect with local organizations, and attend workshop sessions led by professionals and homeschool veterans. This inclusive event is not aligned with any religious, political, or governmental entity, and is open to all homeschooling styles and philosophies.
The 2026 Texas Homeschool Expo will take place March 19-20, 2026, at the New Braunfels Convention Center and June 5-6, 2026, at the Hurst Conference Center. It is open from 10am-4pm each day.
Single day admission tickets are $5 per person for adults ages 18+. Children under the age of 18 are free with an adult and do not require tickets (there is no limit to the number of children per adult ticket). Admission includes access to the Exhibit Hall and all workshops/education sessions. Additionally, the first 500 families at each location will receive a complimentary tote bag!
Anyone and everyone who is interested in learning about homeschooling should attend! This includes current homeschoolers, prospective homeschoolers, grandparents or other family members who want to learn more about home education, and resource providers who want to connect with the homeschool community. Even families who do not homeschool can benefit from attending, as there are many supplemental educational resources and extracurricular activities that are beneficial to all parents.
As a fully inclusive event, we strongly encourage families from all backgrounds, belief systems, political views, and educational philosophies to take part, connect, learn, and grow!
Absolutely! Children are welcome to attend the Texas Homeschool Expo with an adult and receive free admission. Childcare is not provided, and children in attendance must remain under the direct supervision of their adult. For 2026 we are introducing the Activity Hall, which will provide opportunities for children to engage in demo classes, conduct STEM experiments and crafts, and get hands-on with some of our exhibitors!
Young entrepreneurs in DFW are also encourage to participate in the Children's Business Fair, which will take place in the lobby of the Hurst Conference Center on Saturday June 6 from 10am-1pm.
No, pets are not permitted inside of the venues where the Texas Homeschool Expo is held. Service animals (as defined by Texas law and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act) are permitted.

There is a mix of national companies and local organizations, including field trip venues, co-ops and groups, curriculum companies, tutoring and educational services, colleges, book and toy companies, and much more. Both secular and religious materials are available. You can see the full list of exhibitors for each location here.
Each location also features 3 types of workshop spaces:
Education Halls offer quality presentations led by industry professionals and/or experienced homeschoolers on a range of topics, such as getting started with homeschooling, tips on teaching specific subjects, supporting unique learners, and homeschooling through high school.
Activity Halls give kids a chance to get hands-on with crafts, experiments, and sample classes.
Demo Halls allow exhibitors to provide a detailed walk-through of various curriculum and programs, allowing attendees to discover whether each is a good fit for their family.
Once finalized, the full schedule of workshops and education sessions for each location will be posted here.
